Fresh Lane

If you didn’t catch the story we have been running about ‘Fresh Lane’ listen up … ‘Fresh Lane’ is basically a ‘drive-thru’ grocery store. I think it’s just the coolest! Not only is it a great idea for someone like my sister who has a 2-month-old baby and doesn’t want to drag him around a grocery store but, it’s a great idea for us career-single people as well. “Fresh Lane’ says the typical shopping experience is less than one minute. The first store opened in Saginaw last year and their second store opens today in Lewisville. If you forget your check book, no need to worry because you can pay for your groceries with your Toll Tag!

Wow I missed this story. I liked shopping on-line for groceries but now that is gone. I think this would be the next best thing. I live in the Lewisville area. Where is the new store located?
On a side note, love the show. I think you are the best traffic gal in the metroplex

I can see where it would come in handy, but I actually like to slow down and spend time at the market, especially Central Market, and look (and sample!) all the exotic and not so exotic food.

Love your reports in the morning BTW,
when I don’t want to get up in the morning, I remember “Tammy’s on” and leap out of bed to catch your smiling face and sunny disposition!

I shop at the Fresh Lane on Round Grove in Lewisville at least 3 times a week. It’s the greatest! My 4 and 7 year old hate shopping as much as I do, and this is a total God-send. I noticed they’re closing all the Starbucks without drive-thrus – see a trend here anyone??
    Thanks for the posting Tammy!
